Day 1: Arrive Chennai
Arrive Chennai. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Chennai – Mahabalipuram

Morning visit Chennai. Explore Chennai’s rich history, starting with Fort Saint George, Britain’s first Indian stronghold. Then visit Mylapore, the city’s oldest district, featuring the iconic 16th-century Kapaleeswarar Temple, a stunning Dravidian architectural gem with roots tracing back to the Pallava Kings. Drive to Mahabalipuram in the afternoon.
Day 3: Mahabalipuram – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram

Morning visit Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram, renowned for its exquisite silk saris, is home to 5,000 weaving families preserving this rich tradition. Meet a local silk weaver to explore their craft. Later, visit Kattaikkuttu Sangam, engaging with performers before enjoying lunch. Return to Mahabalipuram.

Day 10: Periyar – Backwaters
