Gujarat, a northwestern coastalstate, is a blend of thriving art, ancient civilizations, and rich wildlife.Economically and culturally vibrant, its cities nurture artistry, whilevillages keep traditional crafts alive—exquisite embroidery, tie-dye fabrics,and enameled silverware.

Though dry and flat, itslandscape features temple-crowned hills. While cities are industrial hubs, thecountryside remains rustic. Traditional attire flourishes, with men in whiteturbans and pleated shirts, and women in embroidered cholis. Nomadic tribeslike Bhils and Rabaris gather at lively weekly haats to barter produce.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Ahmedabad

Arrive in Ahmedabad and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 02: Ahmedabad

Explore Ahmedabad’s pols (traditional neighborhoods), historic mosques, and Gandhi Ashram. Visit Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, Jama Masjid, and Ahmad Shah’s Mosque, known for their intricate architecture. In the evening, visit the Shreyas Folk Museum and explore the bustling old market.

Day 03: Ahmedabad – Patan – Modhera – Dasada (220 km, 5–6 hrs)

Drive to Dasada, visiting Adalaj Stepwell, Patan’s Rani-ki-Vav, and Modhera Sun Temple en route. Check in at the lodge and relax.

Day 04: Dasada – Bhuj (280 km, 6 hrs)

Morning safari in Little Rann of Kutch to spot wildlife and tribal communities. Drive to Bhuj, passing through remote villages. Check in at a lodge outside town.

Day 05 & 06: Bhuj & Villages

Explore Bhuj’s historic streets, visit Banni grasslands, and discover local crafts in Sumarsar and Nirona villages. Admire traditional embroidery, tie-dye textiles, and mirror-adorned mud homes. Also visit Mandvi beach.

Day 07: Bhuj – Muli (270 km, 6 hrs)

Visit Bhujodi and Ajrakpur for textile craftsmanship. Drive to Muli and check in at Ambika Niwas Palace. Attend an Aarti ceremony at Swaminarayan Temple.

Day 08: Muli – Rajkot – Gondal (130 km, 3 hrs)

Visit Bharwad and Patel villages before driving to Rajkot. Explore Gandhi Museum and continue to Gondal to see the royal vintage car collection and Naulakha Palace.

Day 09: Gondal – Junagadh – Sasan Gir (120 km, 3 hrs)

Visit Junagadh’s Ashoka Rock Edict, Uparkot Fort, and Girnar temples. Drive to Sasan Gir and check in at the camp.

Day 10: Sasan Gir

Enjoy morning and afternoon safaris to spot Asiatic lions and leopards. Meet the Maldhari and Siddi tribes, known for their unique cultures.

Day 11: Sasan Gir – Palitana (200 km, 5 hrs)

Morning visit Veraval, a fishing town.  Later, Drive to Palitana.  

Day 12: Palitana – Champaner (280 km, 6 hrs)

Climb 3,000 steps to Palitana Jain Temples, a marvel of architecture and devotion. After lunch, drive to the UNESCO-listed Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park.

Day 13: Champaner – Vadodara – Ahmedabad (170 km, 4 hrs)

Visit Champaner’s Jama Masjid and Sat Kaman. Stop in Vadodara to see Laxmi Vilas Palace and Vadodara Museum. Continue to Ahmedabad and check in near the airport.

Day 14: Ahmedabad Departure

Early morning transfer to the airport for departure.
