Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: 21 Nov – Arrive Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, explore Old and New Delhi. Ride a bicycle rickshaw through bustling Old Delhi, visit Jama Masjid, and then explore Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, known for its holy Sarovar and community kitchen. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: 22 Nov – Delhi to Guwahati (Flight) – Kaziranga (Drive 5 Hrs)

Fly to Guwahati and visit the revered Kamakhya Temple. After lunch, drive to Kaziranga National Park, home to the endangered one-horned rhinoceros and diverse wildlife. Check in to the resort. Overnight at the resort.

Day 03: 23 Nov – Kaziranga

Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Kaziranga National Park. Explore its stunning landscapes and spot rhinos, elephants, tigers, and birds. Overnight at the resort.

Day 04: 24 Nov – Kaziranga – Nemati Ghat – Majuli Island

Morning jeep safari, followed by a drive to Nemati Ghat. Take a ferry to Majuli Island, the world’s largest river island. Explore Mishing tribal villages in the evening. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 05: 25 Nov – Majuli Island

Explore Majuli’s satras (Vaishnavite monasteries), known for unique arts, crafts, and traditions. Visit Natun Samugri Satra for mask-making and Kamlabari Satra for boat-making. Continue exploring Mishing tribal villages. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 06: 26 Nov – Majuli – Sibsagar (Ferry + Drive 2 Hrs)

Take a ferry back to Nemati Ghat and drive to Sibsagar, the historic capital of the Ahom kingdom. Visit ancient temples, the Sibsagar tank, and Ahom monuments like Rang Ghar and Kareng Ghar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: 27 Nov – Sibsagar – Mon (Drive 5 Hrs)

Drive to Mon, entering Nagaland. Visit a Naga village en route and meet the village king. Check in to the lodge and explore the tribal surroundings. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 08: 28 Nov – Mon

Day 13: 03 Dec – Kohima – Dimapur (Drive 3 Hrs) – Delhi (Flight)
Drive to Dimapur and fly to Delhi. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: 04 Dec – Delhi Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure, concluding an unforgettable journey through Northeast India.
