The great Kumbh Mela is approaching and as the flood plain becomes dryer, our camping partners are aquaring prime land near the festival site so that there is less of the “walking” to see the various activities at the fair ground. While the super deluxe TUTC has finalized its land ( a great location) the lesser but still very delux camp sites are going to be announced in a few weeks time. Watch for this space for knowing the best place for your clients to stay at the festival.

While the well known festivals of India are a great draw to visitors, it is the smaller festivals of India which can give your clients the uniqueness and personal touch that they so crave for.

Here we list four festivals which are small and yet immensely satisfying to visit if your clients happen to be in these areas:

Theyyam Festival, North Kerala icon.png Kolayat Festival, Bikaner
Kawant Festival, Gujarat icon.pngAouling Festival, Nagaland

The waters are now receding and the reconstruction work is in great speed. Houseboats are operating. Airport is functioning smooth.

All roads are open now. All touristic activities have resumed including the Periyar ecotourism activities, Munnar sightseeing places are open. Kerala is ready to welcome visitors now.

As always, I hope you will find this information useful. For any clarifications or additional information, please let me know.
